On weekends only the Hacienda Center is open for the pick up of the guest IDs; address: 1200 Avenida Central, Lady Lake, FL 32162. Pick up times are Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5pm and on weekends from 8:30am to 12pm.

Please return the golf cart with at least the same amount of gas in it as it had when you arrived here. Please follow all the rules on the use of golf carts in The Villages. We are giving you permission to use our golf cart. You should have a valid driver’s license and cannot have a revoked driver’s license. We insist that no one under the age of 18 years operates the golf cart. Please do not exceed the maximum allowed street limit of 19 miles an hour and please use the seat belts when not on a golf course. We are coffee lovers and we thought you might be too. Therefore, we have different options for you to brew your drink of choice. You can buy cups for the Keurig at Publix, on Amazon, or basically anywhere else these days.
  12. Trash
Trash pickup days are Mondays and Thursdays. Please put your trash in trash bags in the front of the driveway the night before (Sunday and Wednesday night) after 5pm. All materials can be placed together in the same bag, no need to sort (no garbage cans in The Villages). We provide the large container in the garage for interims storage of your filled trash bags. Please do NOT remove this bin from the garage (if put outside with the trash bags in it, the bin will be taken).
  13. Doggie waste bags

  25. Check out and check out tim
Check-out time is 10am, so we can get the house sparkling clean and sanitized before our next guests arrive. Please put the golf cart key back on the hooks by the front door. 26. Leaving the place
We would very much welcome it if you could get the dishwasher started before you go. Thank you!
  27. Please leave a review
We strive to give our guests a 5-star experience. If you have any problems or find something that is not to your satisfaction, please get in touch with us ASAP.

Please note: Airbnb/VRBO ratings are not like hotel ratings. An overall rating of 5 starts means that you were happy with your stay and all the spaces provided to you. Airbnb considers a score of less than 5 as a “fail”- if our average rating drops below 4.8, we will lose our Superhost status, and if it drops below 4.7, we risk having Airbnb/VRBO remove our listing from the platform altogether! (This is no joke.)

Of course, if you are disappointed or dissatisfied with any aspect of your stay, please feel free to communicate this to me, so I have a chance to address the issue and ensure your stay is a 5-star experience.

How to use a GOLF CART

    1. Turning on the lights
Pull the choke-like pull-button in the middle of the dashboard
    2. Using the blinkers
The blinker gets set like in any other car but with the golf cart you need to turn the blinker back to its default position manually (otherwise you’ll keep on blinking).
    3. Going forward and backward
The handle under your set makes a quarter turn to the left and right if you want to change directions. Once put into reverse the golf cart makes a very noticeable noise indicating the backward drive.
    4. Engage and disengage the parking break
In order to put the golf cart into parking you need to step on the break and small “P” section of it with some force until you hear it click. To release the break just put your foot on the gas and go.
    5. Filling up the gas
Open the front seat to find the tank inlet underneath the front seat on the passenger’s side. The golf cart uses regular unleaded gas.
    6. Getting around in The Villages
We highly recommend to download The Villages GPS app on your phone in order to be able to safely navigate and find all the golf cart paths for your explorative tours.

    GOLF in the Villages

    1. How to reserve a tee time (with Lifestyle ID)
    2. Every Village Resident is assigned a 6-digit identification number (on your Lifestyle ID/Guest ID) and a 4-digit personal identification number (Pin). These numbers are required to access the automated telephone tee time system and are also used for accessing WIFI at the Recreation Centers.
    3. Prior to getting started you will need to have the following:
    4. A touch tone phone (set to tone, not pulse)
    5. Your ID number and PIN.
    6. The day you wish to play.
    7. The number of golfers in your group.
    8. The golfer ID numbers of all the golfers in your group.
    9. The course(s) you wish to play.
    10. Time of day you wish to play.
    11. Tee times are assigned three days in advance of the day of play via an Automated Tee Time System. There are three ways residents can obtain tee times:
    12. By making a tee time REQUEST through the automated tee time system 4-7 days in advance. For additional information you call 352-753-3396 for a Request Worksheet.
    13. By making a tee time RESERVATION through the automated tee time system 1-3 days in advance.
    14. By calling the respective golf shop (championship courses) or starter building (executive courses) on the day of play to reserve an open tee time.
    15. Please know that the vast majority of tee times are made via the request portion of the automated tee time system. In order to use this system you have to have the Lifestyle ID for which The Villages charge a $50 fee upon arrival. The Automated Tee Time System can be accessed by phone or through the Internet. (The Tee Time System is discussed in detail in the Golfing in The Villages brochure that is available at your local country club or in the Tee Time Office).
    16. For the Tee Time Reservation Office, please call 352-753-3396.

      Championship Golf
    17. As a resident of The Villages or a Lifestyle ID holder, you are automatically a member at all nine of the country club facilities. There are no dues or minimums to pay. No initiation fees. Just choose the course you would like to play by going to the Tee Time Reservation System and pay each time you play. It’s that easy...
    18. Trail fees are included in the rate to play at each course, so you can bring your own golf cart from home and not have to pay to use it.
    19. You will find information below that will cover Priority Golf Membership (includes Pools & some Tennis).
    20. When you pay as you play, you will find these courses are considered semi-private facilities with fee structures designed to be affordable for Villages residents.
